Southampton Addition

A couple asked us to design a new addition to their existing house with a ground-floor bedroom suite. Using the house's existing material palette—cedar and standing seam metal—the exterior plays on vernacular board-and-batten cladding. The interior features a plywood skylight system, inspired by Donald Judd.
